In 2008, the World Karting Association made their annual pilgrimage to Daytona International Speedway for the season opener. Sports Illustrated for Kids also traveled to Daytona that year, to create this video about the sport. The production team stopped by our tent and spoke with us for a while about the sport and our experiences. Later they returned to record an interview with me about my perspective on karting, which you can hear from 0:27 to 1:29 in the video below.

Kart Racing
In 2004, I went up to BeaveRun Motorsports Track and took an introduction to karting school. The next racing season I ran both AWRCS and karting. Soon after I switched full time to karting.

Motorcycle Racing (AWRCS Woods Racing)
I started racing dirt bikes in 2004 when I was 10, in a series called AWRCS. This was woods racing, similar to GNCC, but much tighter trails, lots of single track, creek crossings, steep hill climbs and descents. Here are some pictures and video from that part of my racing career.
